I am always happy to consider paid opportunities. If you think you could work well with me, get in touch! Here’s what I can offer:
As a blogger
As a blogger, I am happy to consider advertising and sponsored/paid for posts. I usually take projects based on whether they fit with one of the themes of the blog; as my categories are far-ranging, there’s a lot of scope! Similarly, I am also happy to consider products for review, especially books and tea. Contact me if you’d like more information and stats.
As a freelancer
I’m a very quick and precise copywriter and can write about pretty much anything. I’ve worked for magazines and websites, including The Bookseller and Mumsnet. Please contact me for details and check out my previous published work. I’ve recently done some proofreading work for the Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall.
As a teacher
I’m a fully qualified English, Media and Film Studies teacher and I have taught all three subjects up to A2 Level. I have had the honour to work with The Booktrust, designing their Booked Up resources and lesson plans for Year 7 pupils for the last two years. My specialist interests are the use of graphic novels in the classroom, teaching Shakespeare and using media in English lessons.
